Red Nose Day

I was about to forget that today is 'Red Nose Day', the
highlight of British charity Comic Relief, probably UK's
biggest fundraising event which was launched on
Christmas Day 1985 to drive positive and lasting
change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people
through the unique power of entertainment.

Thousands of people all across UK are putting on red
noses to ”do something funny for money” celebrating
Comic Relief's 25 years of fundraising: the money they
raise is used to transform the lives of countless
people in need, both in UK and across Africa.
I confess I'm nuts about the whole idea and also about
the T-shirt capsule collection designed by Stella McCartney,
namely the one featuring the fab four wearing clown
glasses with red nose (needless to say it soon sold out).
Having fun helps change lives, sheer genius!
