supermoon and creeds

Last Saturday night like millions of people all around
the world I was staring at the 'supermoon', the so-called
cosmic event happening once-a-year when our natural
satellite reaches its nearest point to the earth.

Our celestial neighbor appeared to be much brighter
and larger than ever and the morning after newspapers
and websites were full of stunning images but I went
bonkers for the ones showing it behind belfries and
minarets and I came to select the most inspiring
as a sign of communal public worship, regardless
of religious beliefs.
