Scandinavian whites

'Scandinavian Whites' is the captivating title of the
last pages editorial in Bast magazine's long awaited
issue n°4 smartly evoking the pale tones of northern
Europe interior design and its stylistic rule
correlating functionality, comfort and whiteness.

Showing outfits from several Scandinavian designers
and RTW labels all in white and gray nuances through
the stunning images taken by Copenhagen-based
fashion snapper Henrik Adamsen styled by
Mette Krogsgaard of Wowstyling, the editorial
presents simple ideas in a delicate color palette
with white as the conceptual background.

Bast-magazine is the online inspirational mag founded by
Icelanders living in Copenhagen, editor in chief Sif Kröyer
and fashion editor and web director Hafrún Karls,
featuring interviews, articles, illustrations and editorials
focused on fashion, art, music and filmmaking in order
”to combine and evoke interest between
Icelandic and Danish creative forces”.

There's a number of cool ideas rigorously in white and
neutrals, pristine and smooth as driven snow such as
the underwear used as a dress, cozy knitted pieces
worn upon layered tone-on-tone skirts, well-tailored
blazers and draped cotton and silk shirt dresses
with somber gold touches here and there.
The iconic plain yet distinctive style of the countries
along the Baltic Sea bathed in the crisp Nordic light.
