designer of Honor

Giovanna Randall is the Welsh-Italian fashion designer behind
the 'Honor' RTW label, ”an opera singer turned pre-medical
student turned luxury designer” as she wrote introducing
herself, trained at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology
before working for CNC Costume National in Milan.

'Honor' head designer and CEO came to present the
label's first-ever pre-fall collection which is bold,
still feminine and superbly tailored.
”Clothing should make you feel free, free to be anything - you
should wear clothes that make you feel like you, and it's totally
fine to be one thing one moment and then someone else the next”
is the designer's statement fully testified by this ladylike
collection following the ultra-girly spring 2012.

A well-balanced collection with a wide range of garments,
from classy neutrals to vividly colored whose shapes and
lenghts cannily make reference to the 50's with structured
dresses, elongated blazers and knee-length skirts while the
amazing brushstroke prints she personally hand painted are
extremely up-to-date and powerful both in color (on long
sleeves and trousers) as well in gray & white for more
sophisticated evening frocks.

Fashion honors to Giovanna's vision which is, as she remarks,
”infused with a heritage of fearless women, past and present”
that I bet will soon lead her to new heights.
