the strong-willed cowgirl

It's absolutely true that where there's a will
there's a way and the amusing story of
15-year-old Regina Mayer and her cow
Luna is the nicest one to prove it.
Denied a horse by her parents, the German
teenager stubbornly started on riding and
teaching to jump to her family's cow.

She slowly got Luna used to be ridden
by repeated training, constant cajoling
and goody rewards persuading her to
jump very well over crates and logs.
“She thinks she's a horse” says Regina
“when she wants to do something she
does it but when she doesn't, she doesn't.
Luna's often very headstrong but
can also be adorable.”

You know, a cow don't make ham
yet willfulness can do everything!

  1. That is interesting and also funny. I never thought cows could do that, when I see them they are always eating and walking slowly.

P.S. - I can't wait to tell by Biology teacher (who's also a biologist), he will be so surprised.

  2. Dearest Elisabetta,

This proves once more that 'anything' is possible! With love and patience you can almost perform miracles. Lovely post!

Have a nice Sunday evening and a great week.
