¡màs que Bonita!

Brazilian eminent fashion brand Maria Bonita unveiled their
simple and unpretentious yet lavish fall-winter 2011
RTW collection on January the 31st during São Paulo Fashion
Week which I think is quite a sight for sore eyes.

Designed by Danielle Jensen, the collection showcased
functional and straightforward garments at the tune of
Chico Buarque's “Construção” playing the bias in favor
of the workers who came from different parts of
the world to build Brazil biggest city.

A pretty well-done collection which I'm very fond of because
it's cool and stylish at the same time, extremely creative
yet not extravagant with elongated silhouettes and
free-flowing drapings in a perfectly balanced color palette
made of gray and off-white, rusty brown and black.

Jumpsuits, wool jackets, maxi cardigans, fancy gray floor-dusting
dresses that surprisingly host built-in pouch bags around the
hips and even at ankle height, besides all accessories for
the catwalk were skillfully selected like the awesome
metal clutches and the preowned-looking hats.

  1. Dearest Elisabetta,

Just wondering why the 'handbag' is becoming a 'footbag' worn from the shoulder all the way to the feet. Might be quite hazardous!
¡Más que Bonita! Surely is getting attention this way.

    Lots of love,

  2. Dressbags!! No way that's ingenious! Want, want, want:)))) xo
