Whenever you observe an animal closely,
you have the feeling that a person sitting
inside is making fun of you.

The new year is rolling along bringing a whole range of fashion
trend sets and definitely one of them is the obstinate comeback
of animal prints with its variety of colors and patterns.
Among them I especially love the b&W combinations
of zebra-printed outfits proposed by several designers
for their fall/winter collections.

Blumarine fall/winter 2010-11 collection
I simply adore them because they can be easily mixed
with solid bright colors for a pop look or even paired with
a basic outfit to enhance and style-up its mien.
Anyway animal prints are not so easy to wear and they
must be subtly approached and carefully balanced
to avoid the outrageous 'Cruella de Vil' effect!

  2. Dearest Elisabetta,

Lucky me as I got some zebra items from Escada and another designer; always loved them!
Love that quote at the top and sometimes believe this to be true. However, animals are often vulnerable and cannot make fun of people as they are being abused.

Have a great start for 2011 and lots of love,

  3. Ciao Elisabetta, già l'anno nuovo ... Vi auguro armonia, la pace, l'abbondanza della grazia, e soprattutto l'amore! Hehehe ... Quest'anno mi rimarrà un lavoro schiavo che per amore. Il secondo porta sempre me fuori strada. Cordiali saluti. Mando sorride :o)
