details yet to come™ 1.0

clockwise: Derek Lam, Dries Van Noten, Michael Kors, John Galliano
Fashion Week exhibitions of the last few weeks from the four
capital cities of Milan, Paris, London and New York showed next
spring-summer collections and the latest trends embedded in.
The widespread tendency is that accessories are absolutely
necessary to define women's look thus one of the widely
and constantly encountered theme is “details matter”.

What leaps to the eye is the juxtaposition in volumes,
shapes and sizes in which all the trendsetting accessories
are antithetically contrasting with micro and mega in a
whimsical parade where giant handbags are opposed
to elegant clutches, flat shoes facing heeled sandals
and boots, slim belts versus bulky ones.
Each one of them is sure-fire to cause a trend wave
next year, I've looked at them from both sides
in this first selection.
