ready to make sailor promises

Are you ready to become a yachtswoman and to travel
the seven seas? Maybe you'll never own a yacht nor turn
yourself into a sailor but you'd better be ready to join
the navy next spring according to latest shows in Paris.
John Galliano's for Christian Dior and Junya Watanabe both
drew a bead on seafarer look with their s/s 11 collections.

You may choose the option between a sophisticated and
winking look, sort of South Pacific Betty Page's island
fantasy and a much more romantic and retro style
playing with stripes, lengths and layering.
Dior presented sailor hats on navy oversized jackets, leather
peacoats, leather maxi bags and high heeled sandals while
Watanabe showed long sleeved trench coats, tunics worn
over striped leggings, canvas jackets and wide
dresses with nautical motifs worn with male flat shoes.
Pinup or Tokyo doll, which will be your beach-going
style next year?
