Japanese applied math

Issey Miyake's AW 2010-11 women's collection,
designed by Dai Fujiwara, shows eclectic yet wearable
clothes inspired by mathematical theories like
William Thurston's ”Eight Geometries” skillfully
assembling colors and shapes.

Technical fabrics interlocked with natural yarns, textures and
criss cross knits, vivid colors to bright up black and grey tones,
curved lines which are sculptural and flowing at the same time.
A perfect mix of tradition and technology.
