this bird has flown

'This bird has flown' is the alternative title to the universally
known Beatles' song ”Norwegian wood”, the very first one
in Western popular music with a sitar playing in it by the
and it can be good even to describe the brightly
colored world of Oslo's hottest fashion designer, Fam Irvoll.

Fam dares to be unique challenging conventions and rules
while pushing fashion to a further level. Esmod International
and London's Central Saint Martins graduated she worked
with Vivienne Westwood and Gareth Pugh (quite the opposite
of her vision, though) and Norwegian designer Peter Løchstøer
before launching her own name label.

Inspired by her sense of humor and joie de vivre as well
colorful cartoon elements, candy cakes, toys and gadgets
her creations may be low on sales appeal nevertheless they
show an original, kooky creativity, are spectacular and trendy.

Definitely a designer to keep an eye on, who loves colors,
pattern and details, able to design easy, wearable clothes
for children and grown-up gals as well.
Fam's brand, as it's lovely owner, is playful and positive,
frisky and quick-witted, dazzling enough to cheer me up.
