rags 2 stardom

Florida, 2008
'Guerra de la Paz' simply make me wow with
their cutting-edge sculptures amazingly turning old dyed
and torn rags into fantastic artworks.

Indradanush, 2008
The composite name, which oddly means War of Peace, comes from
the Cuban born artist surnames, Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz
who have been consistently producing collaboratively since 1996.

Tribute, 2002-2006
Miami, FLA based, the talented duo works on a combination
of traditional disciplines and experimentation exploring
yet reiventing historic themes and classic icons using
recycled clothes and objets trouvés.

Six Thai Trannies, 2008
But just a few pics and a fistful of words can barely
convey their own message, check out the GDLP's website
to be overwhelmed with peerless irony.
