woolly good

Sweltering day today in Florence, 36°C - 97°F, but Pitti
Immagine Filati is at odds with summer's heat and full of fine,
soft curly wool for fall-winter 2011 knitwear proposals
and cutting edge trends.

The central pavilion trends area has been filled up with
mannequins while the walls around display a host of inspiring
pictures from all over the world.

Knit works, crochets, picots and embroideries are a profusion
yet there's room enough for free walking between them while
taking snapshots and close-ups for future reference that
I'm so glad to share with you.

Really a top-notch edition this year, a classy challenge to the
worldwide economic slowdown with staggering suggestions,
countless materials, finishing details and color shades range.

  1. These photos are great. They just remind me of how much I want it to be Autumn/Winter already...
