those were the days

Florence, fashion models during Pitti, mid 1950s

During Pitti Immagine Uomo a photographic exhibition
made its opening at Aria contemporary art gallery called
”Glamour Icons and Fashion”.

Abbie Lane

Organized by the European School of Economics
together with In Media Tuscany and curated by
Elisabetta Bruscolini and Gaia Casagrande,
the exhibition will run until august
the 29th showing the ”Dolce Vita” days.

Kim Novak

A full vintage charmed atmosphere with stunning
dressed movie stars portraits taken at Cinecittà by
film set photographer Angelo Frontoni during the 50s.

Marlene Dietrich with director Vittorio De Sica

Costumes and dresses were skillfully crafted by Annamode
Costumes, Rome, whose last Oscar-winning collaboration
was with Maria Canonero for Sophia Coppola's
”Marie Antoinette”.
