YSL, the elegant terrorist

January 1984, more than a quarter of century ago, Vanity Italia
published a dialogue with Diana Vreeland together with a long
article, both by André Leon Talley, about the French couturier's
retrospective at Metropolitan Museum, NYC.
It happened to be the twelfth exhibition curated by Mrs. Vreeland
and the very first devoted to the works of a living fashion designer.

Antonio Lopez illustrated with his own typical touch a 25 years
excursus of women shapes and dresses catching the unique
style of the French master who was named ”the most elegant
terrorist of fashion”.
